Acceptable use

routea is free for everyone, which only works if it stays trusted. You may not use routea links to point to, or help distribute:

• phishing, credential theft, or sites impersonating another person or organisation;
• malware, unwanted software, or deceptive downloads;
• scams, fraud, or fake investment, prize or delivery schemes;
• spam, including links sent in bulk unsolicited messages;
• child sexual abuse material, or anything illegal in Australia;
• other URL shorteners or redirect chains that hide the final destination.

We check destinations when a link is created and again over time. Links that break these rules are paused or removed, and accounts that repeatedly break them are closed.
